Rustic View Farm is located on 43 acres in the beautiful Baraboo Bluff in Merrimac, Wisconsin.  Owned by Dr. Dean & Wendy Meyer, it began in 1988 with the purchase of a Brunk/Government bred stallion, Maple Blaze.  Starting his show career late, Blaze went on to win numerous Championships in the English Pleasure division.  What was so profound about this Morgan stallion, was his athletic ability.  He trotted above level in a plate and moved off all four feet turning heads whenever he entered the ring. 

Our goal was to cross this talented stallion on mares with strong foundation lines to produce versatile, athletic Morgans displaying breed type and dispositions that make the Morgan horse so popular today.  We used the bloodlines of Carlyle Command, Tedwin Topic, UVM Prommise, & Waseeka's Nocturne, just to name a few.  We have produced strong mare lines to cross with the World Champions of today. 

The Rustic View offspring have proven themselves quite successful in the show ring.  They've earned Championships in the English, Classic, Western, Hunter and Pleasure Driving Divisions.  Our horses have made us very proud!!
